This winter break, give your kids an unforgettable adventure with Explore Nature’s one-day camps! Designed for kids from Pre-K to sixth grade, our award-winning camps are set against the beautiful backdrops of Cincinnati Parks' nature centers. Each day promises an immersive experience filled with scenic hikes, interactive games, live animal encounters, and hands-on creative projects.

Pre-K Day Camp Details:

10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Tuesday, December 22ndCalifornia Woods Nature Center

Ice Age!
Grades: K-3rd
9:30am -3:00 pm
The Ice Ages are back for a day of adventure. Explore outside with your stone age tribe, search for animals and their homes, and spot signs of ancient ice. Play group games and make prehistoric crafts. Learn the ways of the giant beasts and get up close and personal with our smaller live critters. Finally, gather around the fire for hot cocoa and stories.

Blizzard Blast!
Grades: K-3rd
9:30 am- 3:00 pm
Bring on the snow!!! Join in on the fun as we go exploring, play seasonal games, get creative with arts and crafts and simply relax with a story. It will be SNOW much fun!

Monday, December 28thAvon Woods Nature Center

Over/ Under the Snow Camp
Ages: 4 to 5 years old (must be toilet trained)
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Where do animals go in the winter? We'll find out together on this adventurous day as we hike, play games and do scavenger hunts. We will make wildlife crafts and even meet some live animals! We will finish with hot chocolate and a story. Pack a lunch and be prepared to have fun in the cold weather!

Winter Wizards Winter Break Camp
Grades: 2nd-6th

This one-day camp for young witches and wizards will be spellbinding with science experiments, games, animal encounters, crafts, and more wintertime fun in this nature and magic based camp.
